Job Title: Connections Manager Location: London (Hybrid/Flexible Working Options Available) Full-Time, Permanent As they continue to expand their project pipeline, they are seeking a proactive Connections Manager to oversee and manage utility connections for a wide range of low-voltage energy projects. Manage end-to-end grid connection processes for low-voltage energy systems, including CHP, heat networks, solar PV, and battery storage projects. Assess grid connection feasibility, apply for connection offers, and interpret technical and commercial terms. Support project development teams with grid-related input during early-stage assessments and planning. Track and manage connection milestones, ensuring alignment with project delivery timelines. Provide technical insight on connection capacity, reinforcement risks, and alternative solutions. A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working on decentralised or embedded generation projects. Exposure to commercial aspects of connection agreements and project economics. Technical background in electrical engineering or energy systems (preferred but not essential). Work on diverse, meaningful projects that contribute to a more flexible, sustainable energy future.
