We are working with a leading UK specialist in industrial automation to find a Commissioning Engineer who thrives in technical environments and is ready to take on diverse, real-world engineering challenges. The Role
- Support the design, build, testing, and commissioning of robotic and automated systems.
- Build and test electromechanical systems and subsystems to high standards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex faults across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with software, workshop, and service teams to deliver seamless project outcomes.
- Travel to customer sites (UK-wide) for installation and support of automation systems.
- Work to safety standards and document all processes clearly and accurately.
- Liaise with stakeholders and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified to HNC level in an electrical field, or equivalent through apprenticeship or experience.
- Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
- Skilled in diagnosing electrical faults using industry-standard tools and practices.
- A confident communicator in both written and verbal English.
- Adaptable, with a keen interest in learning new technologies quickly.
- A full UK driving licence holder.
- Willing to travel to client sites as required.
- Eligible for UK security clearance up to Developed Vetting (British Citizens only).
