The Role

  • Support the design, build, testing, and commissioning of robotic and automated systems.
  • Build and test electromechanical systems and subsystems to high standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex faults across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with software, workshop, and service teams to deliver seamless project outcomes.
  • Travel to customer sites (UK-wide) for installation and support of automation systems.
  • Work to safety standards and document all processes clearly and accurately.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified to HNC level in an electrical field, or equivalent through apprenticeship or experience.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in diagnosing electrical faults using industry-standard tools and practices.
  • A confident communicator in both written and verbal English.
  • Adaptable, with a keen interest in learning new technologies quickly.
  • A full UK driving licence holder.
  • Willing to travel to client sites as required.
  • Eligible for UK security clearance up to Developed Vetting (British Citizens only).
