Are you an experienced CNC Programmer with experience or aptitude to lead a small team, looking for a challenging and varied permanent position? The role is working for a medical device manufacturer, so itβs a very clean precision manufacturing environment working double day shift Mon-Fri, with short hours on a Friday.
This position will be split between team leading and hands-on CNC work.
The Role- Full time permanent position within medical device manufacturing
- Leading a small team of 5, including appraisal, allocating jobs etc.
- Hands-on work will be setting, operating and programming CNC machinery; working on metals, to within +/- 0.1mm, working on Citizen sliding heads, lathes, 3 and 5 axis machines using Fanuc and Heidehain controls.
- Working experience in a machine shop manufacturing environment
- Working experience of CNC setting, operating and programming ideally on 3/5 axis machines
- Experience/aptitude to lead a team
- Experience using micrometers and verniers
