Keystone Care is looking for a passionate and experienced Peripatetic Nurse Manager to join an established Nursing Home Provider. In this vital role, you will provide clinical nursing leadership across our homes, stepping in to support during periods of Nurse Manager absence, leave, or vacancy. You will take full responsibility for the operational management of the home, ensuring efficient use of resources and high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify organisational learning and development requirements
- Deliver and support induction and orientation for new team members
- Work with senior management and HR to ensure all mandatory training and regulatory standards are achieved, using established development frameworks
- Review and maintain appropriate staff skill mix for legal and financial compliance
- Oversee resident care and nursing quality standards
- Supervise clinical operations with a person-centred focus
- Drive continuous improvement in nursing services
- Foster a culture of safety by ensuring all staff follow health and safety policies and procedures
- Monitor and manage resource allocation within budget limits
- Promote the service to optimise occupancy, following up on all enquiries
- Maintain accurate and secure records in line with data protection requirements
- Coordinate with external agencies and multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident care
