Job Description
First Point Group is recruiting for a Contract Manager or Legal Counsel on behalf of a global household technology group. This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning legal team where you will play a pivotal role in providing contract drafting support in the area of telecommunications / MVNO (specifically international roaming agreements) which will help to deliver global network connectivity for millions of customers.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not an opportunity for a Contract Manager / Paralegal without telecom / international roaming experience. Telecoms experience is a mandatory requirement .
This is a quirky, challenging, and rewarding opportunity where you will help contribute to the delivery of network connectivity to millions of people across the world. You will have previous expertise in drafting international roaming agreements (perhaps for a Mobile Network Operator or MVNO). This role involves providing contracting and transactional support to the team. Key responsibilities include drafting and managing group agreements with mobile network operators globally, enabling retail customers to access mobile and data services worldwide. Additionally, the role supports international IoT and M2M initiatives.
The team you are providing support to focuses on maximizing revenue opportunities and achieving cost savings for the Group. As part of this team, you will be instrumental in driving these strategic objectives.
Based in London (hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office).

The Scope:
This is an opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager and/or a Commercial Lawyer with at least 2-4 years’ post-qualified experience to work in a head office environment supporting our client’s operations worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and providing ongoing contract support for Group deals with third-party mobile network operators.
- Objective analysis of risks with the ability and confidence to provide solutions quickly to satisfy legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Establishing strong working relationships with the business units globally.
- Ensuring adherence to our client’s corporate governance.
Experience:
- You will need experience in contract drafting and management, and be familiar with international roaming agreements.
- You will need to be comfortable working in an international business, with a track record as a good project manager, with a “can-do” attitude, who can see projects through to closure in a timely manner.
