TML are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, highly reputable property consultancy based in the City and Fringes. Our client seeks to hire the best commercial property managers that the market has to offer. In this role you will be given some of the clients most prestigious management clients with a mixed portfolio of retail and industrial properties across London, as well as two specific office-focused trophy assets in the heart of the West End.

Reporting directly to the Director of Property Management, you will have fantastic and unrivalled chances to progress your career with a company that rewards performance. This role in particular has been earmarked for a fast route to directorship, so it will suit a candidate that is ambitious. Our client offers a hybrid working policy of four days in the office and one at home, with more flexibility on offer for life events when needed.

What will you be doing?

  1. Be experienced in all aspects of property management including service charges, landlord & tenant relations, health and safety, and day-to-day property management.
  2. Make regular inspections of the properties.
  3. Manage a mixed portfolio based all over London and the UK.
  4. Oversee the maintenance of the properties via third-party contractors, ensuring that works are carried out in a cost-effective manner and to a professional standard of workmanship.
  5. Liaise with the accounts team on service charges and rent invoicing, end-of-year reconciliation, and financial queries.

What do you need to be successful?

  1. Minimum of four years’ experience in commercial property management. RICS qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
  2. The ability to work with a minimum of supervision is essential.
  3. Excellent communication and numeracy skills are required.
  4. Full UK Driving Licence.
  5. Ability to commute to East London on a day-to-day basis.
  6. Good working knowledge of the usual office IT systems (Outlook, Word, Excel).
