Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Children’s Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Children’s Social Worker to join our dynamic Children and Families Team. We are committed to providing high-quality support and protection to children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being are paramount.
Your Role:
As a Fieldwork Social Worker in our Children and Families Team, you will be a vital link in supporting children, young people, and their families.
Your responsibilities will include:

Direct Work with Children and Families: Building strong and trusting relationships with children, young people, and families, providing them with the necessary support, guidance, and interventions.

Case Management: Taking responsibility for a caseload of children and families, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring their needs are met.

Promoting Wellbeing: Working with children and families to address their needs, reduce risk factors, and promote positive outcomes.

Multi-agency Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with other professionals and agencies involved in a child’s care, including health services, education providers, and youth justice services.
