AWC Staff Services are looking for an experienced TP137 Civils Site Manager that has extensive knowledge within the Grid.
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Across two sites, Sellinge or Mill Hill, London

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES:
- Ensure all works are managed and achieved in accordance with the design specifications, CDM Regulations, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Health and Safety Legislation, Permit to Work/ Form of Authority as well as ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Responsible for the co-ordination and control of the project from the pre-construction stage, through to completion and the handover of the project to the client.
- Day to day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time, budget and quality constraints.
- The safe delivery of the project.
- Ensure all staff adhere to site rules and challenge non-conformance.
- Ensure that the risk assessments and method statements are reviewed for adequacy, and accurately reflect onsite activities to ensure all significant risks are identified and effectively controlled to minimise those risks.
- Implement the safety arrangements and maintain the CPP keeping it under review to ensure it remains adequate throughout the duration of the construction phase.
- Ensure all accident and incidents, hazards and near misses are investigated, recorded and reported to project manager and shared with client.
- Ensure all fire, first aid and emergency arrangements are in place are effective and suitably located.
- Ensure all safety information and signage is in place, is effective and suitably located.
- Ensure traffic management plans are in place, briefed, and periodically reviewed and monitored.
- Ensure all sub-contractors are checked, suitably trained and competent for their task and tools and equipment are inspected, tested and fit for purpose as required.
- Ensuring timely management of any unforeseen delays.
