As a trainee within the Employee Claims team, you will receive hands-on training and support from experienced colleagues, assisting with the processing of employee claims in insolvency cases. This entry-level role provides a foundation in insolvency processes, employee entitlements, and key administrative functions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Learning to process employee claims efficiently and accurately under supervision.
- Assisting with printing and posting redundancy letters when required.
- Collecting and inputting employee data onto IPS to facilitate claims processing.
- Supporting the management of incoming emails into the ERA team inbox and handling phone queries regarding redundancy.
- Gradually building confidence in liaising with government bodies (e.g., Redundancy Payment Service, HMRC) regarding employee claims and entitlements.
- Communicating with case staff and company contacts to gather relevant information.
- Attending and assisting with online and on-site redundancy meetings as part of professional development.
- Demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Completing reference request forms while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
