You will be the day-to-day face of the L&D Team, focusing primarily on supporting our operational teams within our Army Careers Centres and Assessment Centre and will cover our northern regions (NE/ NW England & Yorkshire Counties, Scotland, Northern Ireland).

You will work collaboratively with key contacts within the business to build capability and grow talent in accordance with business objectives. Designing and delivering innovative and fun learning solutions to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle whilst also encouraging individuals to be curious and accountable for their own self-development.

This role is key within one of the UK’s largest and most diverse recruiting operations. Our aim is to deliver exceptional candidate and customer experience through an effective and inclusive recruitment process.

This role will require travel around the North of the UK, sites will be between Sheffield and Scotland with some travel to Northern Ireland.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitating and delivering learning solutions in a variety of ways such workshops, events, activities, Lunch ‘n’ Learns, Train-the-Trainer sessions, classroom training, etc.
  • Supporting line managers with signing off learner journeys.
  • Providing content/resources for the L&D Catalogue to support staff self-development.
  • Working with line managers to support on-the-job development.
  • Designing, creating and curating innovative blended learning solutions and campaigns, ensuring learning solutions meet the requirements of the role and business objectives.
  • Evaluation and analysis of learning solutions to ensure learning and development needs have been met, Return-On-Investment and identify any further requirements.
  • Staying abreast of industry standards, the latest innovative methods and materials to support the training design and delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in delivering training for process, systems and soft skills.
  • Proven track record in carrying out training needs analysis and translating customer requirements into clear, actionable goals.
  • Up to date learning knowledge, methods and techniques with experience of designing and delivering blended learning solutions (face-to-face and digital).
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at a variety of levels.
  • Very organised, with a proactive approach.
  • Strong team player, effective communicator and influencer with a passion for collaboration.
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office.
