The Role: We’re looking for a compassionate and organised Deputy Manager to support our Supported Housing Manager in delivering a safe, empowering and person-centred service to individuals facing the challenges of compound trauma and complex needs, across our accommodation-based support settings. You’ll help lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver tailored support to individuals with mental health needs and complex behaviours. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring services remain compliant and effective. You’ll also join the Manager-On-Call rota.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee support plans and monitor client progress
- Manage team rotas, recruitment, supervision and training
- Maintain health and safety and compliance across schemes
- Deputise for the Supported Housing Manager and manage stakeholder relationships
- Lead monthly house and staff meetings, and follow up with minutes and actions
- Liaise with maintenance to minimise void periods and maintain standards
- Deliver regular audits and ensure records are accurate and inspection-ready
- Collaborate with external agencies to support client goals
- Support budget management and ensure value for money
- Participate in launching new services and ongoing service improvement
