SPEC Engineering is a Global EPC Company specialising in Oil and Gas, with new UK offices based in Leatherhead, Surrey. We are looking to fill a number of roles at varying levels of experience to join our engineering teams in the UK.
- Mechanical Engineers
- Piping Engineers
- Static Engineers
- Project Managers
Salaries are negotiable depending upon experience. As an Engineer with SPEC you will provide technical support throughout the fabrication and installation phases, including review of shop drawings and vendor submittals. You will engage in the preparation of design reports, specifications, and technical documentation and join design reviews, ensuring compliance with all technical and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Qualifications/Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience for Senior Roles.
- Proven experience in working with pressure vessel manufacturers where relevant.
- A good understanding of industry standards, including ASME, TEMA, and other international codes.
- Experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry would be an advantage.
- Knowledge and practical experience with design codes such as ASME (Section VIII, Section II, and Section IX), TEMA, API, and other relevant international standards.
- Proficiency in the use of Compress, NozzlePRO, FEA software (ANSYS) for structural and thermal analysis of mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Must be able to work in the United Kingdom without Sponsorship.
- The roles are Office Based therefore the ability to commute to Leatherhead, Surrey is essential.
