Job Description About the Role: Join a leading renewable energy developer as a PV Design Engineering Manager and play a critical role in shaping the future of solar energy projects. You will lead a talented design engineering team and deliver cutting-edge solar PV designs that meet technical, regulatory, and environmental requirements. This position is an integral part of the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Generation Team, responsible for managing solar projects from concept through to operation. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the design engineering activities for solar PV projects across their lifecycle, ensuring innovative, efficient, and compliant solutions. Conduct complex site assessments and feasibility studies to optimise project design and energy production. Develop technical specifications, solar yield assessments, design layouts, and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) to drive project success. Oversee the review and approval of designs, documentation, and contractor outputs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Foster a collaborative culture, providing mentorship and technical support to team members while promoting health, safety, and quality standards. Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and industry bodies, to enhance project delivery and maintain strong relationships.
