Smile Education Leicester is delighted to be recruiting for a dynamic and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join one of our large secondary academies near the Wigston area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to inspire and educate students across KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5, starting in January 2025. The role is full-time, but we’re happy to discuss part-time options if required. This position has the potential to become permanent, making it a great long-term opportunity for the right candidate. ECT and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply! In return for your commitment to teaching for the remainder of the academic year, pay rates will be on the MPS-UPS scale, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5. Plan and mark lessons to the highest standard in line with the UK curriculum. Support students’ progress through effective assessment and feedback. Collaborate with a supportive and motivated team of educators.The Ideal Candidate: A qualified teacher with experience in planning, marking, and delivering lessons to a high standard. Familiarity with the latest UK curriculum for Computer Science at secondary level. Passionate about teaching and inspiring students in the subject.
