Handle are working with an award-winning content agency, recruiting an experienced Client Director to join their growing team. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of managing a team.
Candidates should have an advertising or creative agency background and have previously worked with well-known brands/clients.
This role will involve line management of 4 members of the Account team, so previous management experience will be essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, with a real passion for building relationships and excellent communication skills.
This role will be mostly office-based in Central London, so it’s essential that candidates are able to commute in daily.
The role:
As Client Director, you will be responsible for working closely with existing key clients on projects from brief through to completion, building strong relationships and managing expectations at all times.
The CD will also be responsible for providing team members with valuable industry expertise, implementing robust processes, and delivering on client growth. You will need to be able to think strategically, show strong leadership capabilities as well as provide a high degree of commercial awareness and experience.
Duties:
- Project / Account management – Keeping all projects on track and on budget at all times and ensuring internal processes are implemented and maintained.
- Resource and budget planning.
- Client relations – maintain ongoing relationships, act as primary point of contact, and secure further partnerships.
- Pitching and presenting to new and existing clients.
- Team management – building a team and supporting their growth and long-term development.
- Refine existing processes, deliver on projects for both client and agency, and maintain a high level of organisation within the account management team.
- Account reporting – presentation of strategies and account performance.
This role would suit an established CD from either an ad agency or creative agency, with a passion for branded content and delivering exceptional client service.
