Our client, a leading regional law firm, is currently recruiting for a full-time Commercial & IP Senior Solicitor to join their team.
The successful candidate can expect to work with household brand names and owner-managed businesses on a wide range of general commercial matters across various industry sectors. You will also be responsible for developing and growing the current IP offering.
You will have a sound, well-rounded knowledge of commercial and IP law, and be used to working as part of a team as well as taking the lead and managing projects autonomously. This is very much a client-facing role, so you will need to be experienced at building rapport with clients and providing clear and practical advice that meets their needs. As an expert in your field, you will also have experience supervising and mentoring junior team members.
This position would suit a candidate with rounded academic qualifications and solid Commercial and IP law experience gained at a Legal 500/Chambers ranked firm or as part of an equivalent in-house legal team. It’s likely that the candidate will have 7-12 years of relevant PQE, but we are happy to consider all candidates who can demonstrate the skills needed to perform the role.
