About the company
You will be working for an award winning turnkey fit out & refurbishment specialist working on projects across the UK. Due to a busy pipeline for 2025 there is a very strong chance of ongoing work throughout the year.
About the role
You will be leading and managing an on-site team of suppliers and subcontractors to delivering a high quality project safely and in alignment with the project programme, client specifications & budgeted costs. This will be on a Retail Warehouse Unit involving fit out and refurbishment works
Day-to-day duties will consist of:
- Liaising with Project Manager & Project Co-Ordinator
- Driving a consistent & proactive approach to health & safety on site
- Manage hazards & risks
- Ensure all contractors & visitors are thoroughly inducted onto sites
- Monitor progress of project programme, minimising risks
- Building an understanding of the project budgets to drive efficiencies
- Oversee contractor performance
About you
To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in fit out and refurbishment within the retail / Industrial / commercial sectors. Ideally you will have a trade background and a good eye for detail.
You will also need the following certifications:
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black/Gold/White
- First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness
- Fire Marshal
