The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
A well-established SME business based in Trafford Park, Manchester. You’ll be working in a broad role, supporting management accounting, decision-making and commercial understanding within the business, alongside other finance responsibilities. The person in this role also has the opportunity to grow within the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Monthly management accounts
- Assisting with P+L reporting, balance sheets, general ledger
- Various kinds of analysis, particularly around cost, stock, and margin
- VAT Returns
- Leveraging CRM system to support financial and commercial analysis
- Identifying and actioning areas of business improvement
- Any other ad hoc tasks
Skills/Qualifications required:
- Previous experience assisting with or preparing management accounts, either gained within industry or practice
- Self-starter, keen to progress
- Excellent communication skills
- Good time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous experience in a similar industry a bonus, but not required
