A leading independent school that is based in North London is seeking an Early Years Practitioner. This role is working within one of the early year’s classes, you will work with a Team Leader who oversees the team. What you will be doing as the Early Years Practitioner: Planning activities both indoor and outdoor Assist with the development of children Reading/telling stories to a class of pupils Take children out on educational visits Write weekly lesson plans Control and main resources when needed Classroom tidying and organising Attending meetings, as required by the Headteacher To be successful in the application process of this role, you will have a grade C or above in English and Maths and ideally have achieved your Level 3 in early years care and education. You need to be approachable with excellent interpersonal skills, be able to respect confidentiality at all times and be passionate about children’s learning and development.
