One of the UK’s top facilities management providers are looking to recruit an experienced BOAS Engineer for a key client site in Colindale. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing FM team delivering critical building services at a well-maintained, strategically important site.

As the site’s BOAS Engineer, you will take ownership of the operation and maintenance of steam and boiler plant systems, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance across the site, working closely with site-based teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily operation, maintenance, and monitoring of boiler and associated plant equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with BOAS, PSSR, and HSE requirements.
  • Conducting PPMs and supporting the delivery of statutory inspections.
  • Fault-finding and carrying out remedial works on mechanical systems.
  • Collaborating with the on-site FM and energy teams to drive plant efficiency.
  • Completing all logs, reports, and compliance records to company standards.
Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience in a similar boiler house or plant environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and controls.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
  • Mechanical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a critical or large commercial FM setting.
  • Familiarity with BMS systems and energy performance tracking.
