Are you a detail-driven finance professional looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced and collaborative environment? Our client, a well-established industry leader, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support a range of essential finance functions and play a key role in their continued success.
What you’ll be doing:
- Expenses & Credit Cards: Process and verify employee expense claims and ensure accurate posting to SAP. Manage corporate credit card reconciliations, approvals, and postings to meet payment deadlines.
- Supplier Relations: Handle Direct Debit invoice processing and ensure timely approvals and postings in SAP. Coordinate weekly payment runs in line with finance schedules. Resolve supplier queries efficiently via phone and email. Conduct sanction screening for new customers and suppliers.
- Banking & Cash Book: Monitor daily EUR & USD transactions and post bank statements using NatWest online banking and SAP. Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations. Oversee Direct Debit setups and controls.
- Finance Support: Assist the part-time Credit Controller by sending statements and invoices, and support credit control when needed. Contribute to month-end closing activities. Support the annual financial audit and provide ad-hoc financial reports from SAP and Protean.
