Protyre Autocare is looking for a dynamic and customer focused Business Development Manager to identify, secure and develop commercial tyre business opportunities (Truck & Agri) whilst maintaining stability and growth of existing customers. With full management and control of Commercial sales and profit in the defined geographical area, liaise with suppliers, ensuring smooth Service Levels in your predetermined territory. As a BDM you will have experience of working in a regional or in a national sales role within a target driven environment.
- Your Location: Field based role, you will ideally be located South Midlands
- Territory: Greenford, Eastleigh, Portsmouth, Poole, Exeter, Bristol and South Wales
- Must have: Full UK Driving Licence
- Package: Salary + Discretionary Bonus

About the role:
- Working closely with Centre Managers to ensure all sites are made aware of manufacturers promotions; coach and develop centre staff to deliver excellent customer service to the end user, ensuring consistent high levels of customer service from each centre to develop potential sales
- Recommend new products and services by evaluating current products
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the retail commercial Tyre sector
- Identify new business opportunities, understand customer needs, and stay ahead of industry trends
- Grow existing Truck customers and brand awareness with new business wins
- Identify and develop potential key commercial accounts, providing full support to maximize business potential
- Build a weekly call log plan of prospect calls and appointments
- Create a strategic pipeline of customers
- Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts, on performance analyses to inform strategic decisions to your manager
