A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician. You'll be joining an established team of experienced Technicians. We are looking for Vehicles technicians to join a defence company that specialises in the conversion of commercial vehicles to armoured vehicles with military applications. Due to the nature of the company, we are looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians that will be able to dismantle vehicles and reassemble with bespoke modifications. Responsibilities: Stripping of commercial vehicles Building bespoke vehicles Read and interpret mechanical instructions Use a variety of hand and bench tools (torque wrenches etc.) Work as part of a team or on your own using initiative Requirements: Previous experience in a mechanical assembling role Working from an instruction work log Previous experience within a mechanical environment Previous experience using workshop tools including torque wrenches, socket wrenches, screwdriver etc. Has a minimum of a City & Guilds Level 3, or similar, in Automotive Repair or Vehicle Systems.
