3 months plus, 7am till 5pm, early finish on a Friday
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring your own health and safety and that of others and promoting a positive health and safety culture within the workplace
- Ensure all Health and safety obligations are met, and company policies are adhered to
- Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents and incidents by the end of that shift to allow full investigation and prevent re-occurrence
- Ensure activities and associated actions and measures taken do not endanger but assist with the upkeep and maintaining the company's ISO (9001, 14001 and 45001) standards and certification
- Document all work activities and Total Performance Maintenance
- Troubleshoot Fuel System issues related to engine testing
- Install and repair fuel systems and parts of systems
- Inspect fuel systems
- Audit test equipment used for Fuel Pump/Injector testing
- Perform routine or preventive maintenance on fuel Pump/Injector test equipment
- Report results of Fuel Pump & Injector tests
- To undertake training as and when required
- To mentor trainees/apprentices when applicable
- To comply with Company and statutory Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and HR policies and procedures
- To work to, and support, all relevant 5S activities
- Adhere to a line manager's written or verbal reasonable instruction
- Maintain a good level of attendance at work
Background & Experience:
- The ability to work within a changing environment with deadlines and short lead times
- Good knowledge of fuel system components, calibration, phasing of different types of fuel pumps, conducting bench tests and preparing reports
- Take on any other reasonable responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee's skills and abilities
- To be able to contribute to the Team's performance
