Cherry are looking for a dynamic Planning Manager for a forward thinking and expanding FMCG company. You will contribute to the continued growth of the business, working synergistically with the planning and supplier stakeholders, achieving business KPIs and planning for operations.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of planners within the supply chain function.
- Ensure a consistent level of optimum inventory to manage customer fluctuations while managing working capital.
- Working closely with Operations Management to implement processes and controls that support one way of working across all areas and developing Key KPIs to measure material supply performance against the production plan.
- Work with management teams to support the development of new systems, processes and working practices relating to Material scheduling.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and assist with day-to-day actions of these areas to facilitate adherence to plan and minimise disruption.
- Build a strong and trusting partnership with all key internal and external stakeholders.
- Evolve the Planning process and system in line with business requirements.
- Continually seek ways to improve the planning and purchasing processes by optimising operations, by continually revisiting the master data, to achieve agreed key performance indicator targets.
- Short term forecasting to meet production requirements.
