About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager with a strong civil engineering background to support a major Overhead Line (OHL) infrastructure project in the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact energy project on a contract basis, with a minimum 6-month duration and potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily site operations, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain progress and resolve issues.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and quality control documentation.
  • Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects, ideally within the power or utilities sector.
  • Prior involvement in Overhead Line (OHL) or similar infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred.
