This well-regarded City law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Real Estate lawyer of 4 or more years’ PQE. The commercial real estate group has an established reputation and broad experience over the entire sector, providing a first-class service on all aspects of transactions, acquisitions, leasing, management and disposals of real estate assets. The team advises commercial, public, private, charity and not-for-profit clients and deals with all kinds of property – commercial and high-value investment residential and in all market sectors including office, industrial, retail occupiers and leisure. They also advise large investment landlords and many high street retail tenants including a number of household names. When required, the team works closely with the firm’s planning, construction and real estate litigation teams.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate sound knowledge and experience of all commercial property work and commercial awareness. You will be involved in dealing with substantial transactions including:
- Acquisitions and disposals of sites for commercial, industrial, residential and mixed use
- The grant, renewal and termination of leases and related matters
- Development of sites
- Joint venture agreements
- Conditional sale and purchase contracts
- Auctions and options
It is also essential for you to be able to demonstrate that you can develop and maintain good client relationships. The team is committed to maintaining a friendly and supportive working environment and encourages collaboration and sharing know-how for the benefit of clients.
