Position: Quality Inspector / Quality Technician Salary: £36,000 to £46,000 per annum, depending on skills/experience, plus overtime paid at x1.5 and benefits Hours: Monday to Thursday, afternoon shift, 2:45pm till 12:00am (37 hours a week only!) It is a new shift that’s newly created due to growth, expansion and moving into their new factory premises! Responsibilities Working in a state of the art and modern factory, your role in the Quality Inspection team will include; Perform mechanical inspection, working to Microns on parts using CMMs, Roundtest, Con Tracers, Shadow Graphs and Height Gauges. Ensuring Quality standards are maintained and QMS procedures are followed correctly. Inspecting finished product prior to release under Delegated Quality Release for key customers. Preparing customer reports, certificates and raising release order documentation. Maintaining Quality records and KPI data related to Quality Release. Maintaining customer delegated release inspection logs. Verifying incoming receipt materials and finished product from sub-tiers. Involvement in Quality investigations. Requirements Background and experience in a Quality role – this could be as Quality Technician or Quality Inspector or Quality Engineer. Those with who may have had some Quality work as part of their role may also be considered and offered training and development. Ideally experience working in Aerospace, however other manufacturing and machining environments will also be considered. Preferred the use of some quality inspection and tools and measuring equipment such as CMMs, Roundtest, Con Tracers, Shadow Graphs and Height Gauges etc. Great work ethic and keenness to be part of a great team and company.
