A leading Tyne and Wear company are looking for an experienced Fabricator/ Welder to join their team on an initial 2 month temporary contract basis. Our client is committed to providing pioneering engineering services to their customers; this is an exciting opportunity and a well-rewarded role for the ideal candidate.

The Job you'll do:

  • MIG Welding.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Mainly Fabricating Structural Steel components in 6-15mm Mild Steel / Mig Welding.
  • Medium Fabrication in 3-6mm Mild Steel / Mig Welding.
  • Sheet metal - Aluminium & Stainless Steel.

About You:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Candidate must be able to read engineering drawings, working on own or as part of a team if required.
  • Essential requirements: Time served Fabricator / Welder worker with Mig Welding.
  • Working with medium and light materials carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminium.
