Transaction Manager – Real Estate Debt

We are supporting a leading real estate credit platform in their search for a Transaction Manager to join their London-based team. This role sits at the heart of the deal execution process; managing real estate debt transactions from term sheet through to funding across a range of complex, multi-jurisdictional deals.

You’ll coordinate with internal investment, legal, and operations teams, as well as external counsel, borrowers, and third-party advisers, to ensure that every transaction closes efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the execution and closing process for real estate debt investments
• Oversee due diligence timelines, documentation, and internal approvals
• Coordinate with borrowers, legal advisers, lenders, and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and review funding documentation and settlement statements
• Ensure all CPs and compliance items are tracked and completed ahead of closing
• Identify and resolve transaction issues proactively
• Maintain organised and auditable records for all closed deals
• Support process improvements and best practice initiatives within the transaction team

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5–10 years’ experience in real estate lending, credit operations, structured finance, or capital markets
• Strong track record of managing complex transactions through to close
• Familiarity with loan documentation, funding mechanics, and real estate debt structures
• Excellent project management, coordination, and communication skills
• Comfortable working across multiple internal teams and managing external stakeholders
• Experience at a bank, credit fund, real estate lender, or transactional legal environment preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, law, real estate, or a related field
