ESD are currently recruiting for a quantity surveyor based in London. Our client are a leading demolition contractor based in London and are looking to add a QS to there growing team. Key Responsibilities: – Prepare and analyse cost estimates for construction projects – Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures – Conduct risk analysis and value management – Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities – Negotiate contracts and work schedules with clients and contractors – Measure and value work done on-site – Provide regular financial progress reports – Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Key Skills: – Proficiency in quantity surveying practices – Experience working with a tier one contractor – Strong analytical and numerical skills – Excellent negotiation and communication skills – Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
