Position: Senior Automation Engineer Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Department: Engineering Responsibilities: You will design, develop and implement automation solutions to optimise processes, enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations. You will lead automation projects, mentor junior engineers and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Qualifications: Degree (BSc/MSc) or equivalent (HND) qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline. Proven track record of leading automation projects from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards and regulations. Capability in automation engineering including; Control & Automation Philosophies, System Architectures, User Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications, Hardware & Software Design Specifications, System Test Specifications, Installation and Operational Qualification Protocols and Application of ISA95/S88 methodology. Experience with following products/suppliers; Siemens PLCs, Eurotherm, AVENA System Platform/Wonderware, Emerson DeltaV.
