About the Role
We’re looking for architects with strongtechnical knowledge, full life-cycle project experience and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between client and engineering teams.
You’ll bring extensive experience operating within the technology industry across various ecosystems, including architectural styles such as microservices, modulith, serverless, and event-driven and data architectures. You’ll be proficient in architectural patterns including CQRS, event sourcing, service mesh and the Saga pattern, amongst others.
You’ll be flexible in the types of engagements undertaken – from leading the design of cutting-edge greenfield platforms to performing Delivery Assurance tasks in multi-vendor environments. This includes experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
You should be able to advise on data principles, governance, patterns, and technologies, and how these shape or support architectures you design. You’ll have hands-on experience with public cloud services like AWS, Azure or GCP.
Additionally, you will possess a deep knowledge and focus on security and privacy, including best practices and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and their applications in data platform implementations. This also encompasses experience with identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data masking techniques.

About You
As one of our Architects, you will use your broad technical knowledge, full lifecycle project experience and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between client and internal delivery managers, enterprise architects, operations teams, UX consultants and developers.
Successful applicants should be able to evidence the following:
- Ability to be versatile, comfortable evaluating a new Open Source technology in a rapid technical spike, presenting to a CIO on a package selection, or working with a technical tester and a support desk engineer to debug a time-critical P1 issue
- Confidently able to serve as a leader of an agile delivery organisation, you’ll ensure that Agile processes and Product focused lifecycles deliver the right value, at the right time. You’ll support in the definition of the application and data target state and will work pragmatically in overcoming constraints as the team moves towards that goal
- As a technical authority, you lead by example and inspire delivery teams to create great software products that demonstrate the art of the possible. You help in the creation of architectural decision making frameworks and support the organisations wider governance function. You mentor developers to ensure they see the wider picture and meet our exacting standards, while acknowledging the deep experience they bring from spending hours a day working on a codebase
