Since our launch 10 years ago we have curated a collection of unique hotels located in the most incredible destinations worldwide, many of which are part of Small Luxury Hotels, Leading Hotels of the World or Preferred Hotels and Resorts. In the UK we represent these properties in the leisure market acting as an extension of the hotelβs in-house sales team.
Flospitality is seeking a Director of Sales for the UK office to join our dynamic B2B luxury hotel sales representation company. Reporting to the Head of UK Sales, you will play a key role in overseeing the sales team from a managerial standpoint. This position also involves contributing to strategic planning and execution, both for the Flospitality team and our hotel partners' sales initiatives. You will be part of a young, modern, proactive, and results-oriented team.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior Sales position within a Representation company or in a 5* hotel.
- Extensive knowledge of the UK travel trade and passion for the luxury hospitality industry is essential.
- Availability and appetite to travel both within the UK and abroad including long haul trips.
- Ability to work from home with reliability and self-motivation as well as desire to work with the team from a central London office location.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to develop rapport through a confident phone manner.
- Experience with MS Office.
- Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Detail-orientated with a high level of organisation is essential.
- Enjoyment of working independently, as well as creatively as part of a team.
- Ambitious, outgoing, confident, friendly and pro-active personality.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the sales team in conjunction with the Head of UK Sales.
- Independently strategise sales plans for hotel clients.
- Undertake business development for targeted new hotel partners.
- Take a lead role in arranging sales roadshows for multiple hotels: designing creative events and organising with a high level of detail.
- Arrange and accompany agent familiarisation trips to visit hotels on an individual or group basis.
- Make independent appointments with travel trade to present portfolio.
- Arrange and host hoteliers on sales trips to the UK.
- Build and maintain strong agent and hotel relationships through regular communication.
- Deal with incoming hotel stay enquiries for the travel trade with the aim of converting to bookings, ensuring prompt and accurate communication between hotel and agent partners.
- Organise small events such as dinner gatherings.
- Deal with social media engagement from followers.
- Undertake research projects when required.
Salary and Benefits

- Location: London (or able to commute easily and frequently to central London).
