The Company: We are working with a leading contractor who specialise in the leisure & hospitality markets. They have built an enviable reputation and work for a mixture of blue-chip clients and independents. They have asked us to source a Contracts Manager to support projects valued between £2m - £10m. The majority of these schemes are secured on a D&B basis so you’ll need to be technically astute.
The Role: They want to recruit a Contracts Manager to help deliver projects for their valued clients. They work with a number of established clients in this sector so it’s a case of continuing the good work they’ve done with their client base and working with new clients too ensuring the quality of work is kept at the required standard. They take on schemes valued up to £10 Million that are fast paced with high standards aiming to minimise disruption to their clients’ operations. The role is split between the office and visits to sites and clients where and when required - you will be responsible for managing your own diary. You will typically oversee 2-3 projects and guide schemes through preconstruction doing logistics, planning, programming etc. prior to making sure projects are built safely, on time and to budget.
You: They are looking to meet with Contracts Managers who have experience working on fit-out projects, ideally in the hospitality sector and has a track record working on D&B schemes. This role will be undertaking nationwide schemes; you’ll be expected to spend a few days a week working away from home to undertake client meetings/site visits. You’ll be managing a talented and experienced management team.
