The Role of the Director of Operations

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Director of Operations to oversee and enhance their operational processes. The ideal candidate should have extensive understanding of operations including marketing, product, fraud, etc., and be able to tie it all together. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our client's operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities for the Director of Operations

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with our client's goals and objectives.
• Oversee daily operations, enhance efficiency and performance through process development and implementation.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Oversee human resource activities such as hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain fraud policies, procedures, and processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across marketing, sales, and product teams.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively to optimise operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the crypto gaming industry.
• Stay current on industry trends and developments to make informed decisions and recommendations.
• Prepare reports on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Key Skills/Experience Required

• Ideally experience in Crypto or Gaming operations, with experience with organisational procedures.
• Experience working on risk-related products, including leading high-performing teams.
• Experience with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced setting, as well as understanding regulatory needs in the crypto industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven record of running effective operations teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used for operations management.
• A degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
