About The Role
We have exciting graduate opportunities within building surveying for you to join our Leeds office.
You will support project leaders in delivering high-quality services, achieving successful client outcomes, sharing knowledge across projects, fostering innovation, and enhancing our reputation as a preferred service provider. The role encompasses the full spectrum of building surveying services, including design and specification, clerk of works, contract administration, and building surveys.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering projects and professional assignments
- Working proactively within a team
- Maintaining effective communication and liaising with managers for financial control
- Ensuring timely and accurate work outputs
- Representing the company professionally and building strong client relationships
- Supporting senior managers in daily operations
- Maintaining project quality and commercial procedures
- Managing relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues
- Studying independently towards chartered surveyor status
Requirements:
- BSc in building surveying or equivalent
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Experience in higher education, local government, or healthcare sectors is beneficial
- Developing skills in project management, EPCs/FRAs, repairs, maintenance, and condition assessments (training provided)
- Ability to foster professional relationships
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel across UK locations
- Commitment to training and development
- Organized with good time management
- Proactive, diligent, assertive, and commercially aware
Training and Progression (APC programme):
We offer structured RICS APC training to help you become a chartered surveyor within two years. The programme includes self-study, mentorship, external coaching, assessments, and soft skills training. After qualification, opportunities for further development in leadership and business skills are available.
