Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer with experience in the Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning controls market within commercial/industrial buildings. The candidate must have experience/skills in the following areas:
- HVAC Controls with speciality in Trend BMS systems (be conversant with writing software using SET etc., TCP/IP – BACNET / Modbus communications)
- Able to use drawing package AutoCAD with electrical designer module.
- Experience of Trend/Honeywell software etc.
- Must be PC literate, with skills in Windows applications i.e., Word, Excel and use of Outlook.
- Have project skills – able to handle the financial aspect, responsible for the profit and loss of each project.
- Able to communicate and work within a team and communicate to all peers.
- To be generally office based with occasional visits to construction sites for project meetings. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with fellow peers.
This is a permanent position, 40 hours per week with a salary commensurate with the position and 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays. Package to be negotiated. Location: London & home counties.
Qualifications and experience as necessary. Salary/package to be dependent on experience and quality of candidate – Car allowance will be available. Pension – Auto-enrolment.
The following additional skills would be advantageous but not necessary:
- Electrical knowledge of 400v systems – 3 phase 400v motors/1 phase motors, different motor starting techniques i.e., DOL, ASD, Frequency Inverter control.
- Able to design motor control centres/control panels Form 2 - Form 4 to IEC standards.
This may suit a commissioning engineer wishing to progress into project engineering; junior engineers will be considered.
