Project Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading tier 1 main contractor on an exciting scheme in Reading. The business operates across several sectors including student accommodation, commercial, defence and healthcare, valuing upwards of £100mil. The project in Reading is valued circa £500mil, and with the works getting busier, they\’re now looking to expand the commercial team. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within a strong commercial team and report into the Commercial Manager. You will have the support of several Senior Quantity Surveyors. Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: Manage sub-contract procurement Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client Deal with final accounts Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position: Have a HNC / construction related degree Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contract Must have the full right to work in the UK Must live within commutable distance to Reading.
