AutoCAD Architectural Technician

Rate: Outside IR35 Location: Central Manchester Contract Length: Initial 6 months (potential extension) Project: Cladding Remediation on a High-Rise Scheme We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist to join a leading architectural practice on a contract basis in Central Manchester. This role offers the chance to work on a high-rise cladding remediation project, contributing to vital safety-focused design solutions. Key Responsibilities: – Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD – Work across RIBA Stages 4-6, focusing on the delivery and technical resolution of cladding systems – Liaise closely with architects, façade consultants, and contractors to ensure coordinated and compliant detailing – Address technical challenges and support the production of specifications and tender documentation – Ensure compliance with current building regulations and fire safety standards Requirements (ideally you will be able to demonstrate): – Proven experience working on cladding remediation or high-rise residential projects – Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) – Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and façade/cladding systems – Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment – Experience coordinating with external consultants and contractors Why Apply?: – Opportunity to contribute to critical remediation and safety work – Flexible contract terms with the possibility of extension – Work with a respected and supportive team in a central Manchester location To apply or learn more, contact (url removed) or call (phone number removed)
