We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist to join a leading architectural practice on a contract basis in Central Manchester. This role offers the chance to work on a high-rise cladding remediation project, contributing to vital safety-focused design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD
- Work across RIBA Stages 4-6, focusing on the delivery and technical resolution of cladding systems
- Liaise closely with architects, façade consultants, and contractors to ensure coordinated and compliant detailing
- Address technical challenges and support the production of specifications and tender documentation
- Ensure compliance with current building regulations and fire safety standards
Requirements (ideally you will be able to demonstrate):
- Proven experience working on cladding remediation or high-rise residential projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and façade/cladding systems
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment
