Role description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Architect looking to take the next step in their career to join our multi-disciplinary Design Practice.
You’ll be responsible for the delivery of projects in our Defence sector. Your project workload will be varied and in addition to traditional design, we undertake technical advisory services too.
Role accountabilities:
- Providing best-in-class delivery of projects in the Defence sector.
- Providing professional leadership at a senior level, establishing and consolidating relationships with project teams and clients alike.
- Taking ownership for the delivery of a portfolio of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and meeting/exceeding client expectations.
- Ensuring QA process compliance.
- Leading continuous improvement in “Safe by Design” and in health, safety, and welfare.
- Occasional support to the pursuit to win team, inputting bids and attending interviews.
- There will be some travel throughout the UK occasionally.
Qualifications & Experience:

- ARB Registered & RIBA chartership
- Experienced in delivering architectural projects across all RIBA stages
- Experienced in designing Defence sector projects
- Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary design team
- Experience and knowledge of sustainable development best practice would be beneficial.
- A sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, and ability to take commercial responsibility for a project.
- Strong consulting skills including design management and client relationship management
