Procurement: o Providing a comprehensive procurement service for all projects in the regional operating unit. o Deliver a consistent procurement approach across all projects within the regional operating unit from work winning / pre-construction stage. o Demonstrate most advantageous tender in the procurement recommendations o Ensure a robust negotiation process is applied in the engagement process. o Ensure contract arrangements and package details are comprehensive and protect the business in its dealings with suppliers and sub-contractors. o Contribution to leverage at every opportunity o Ensure decisions are not focussed upon lowest price but overall best value for money • Supply Chain Management: o Develop an accredited and structured supply chain that is aligned to the regional operating unit demand and overall, Murphy strategy o Consistently monitor the marketplace to ensure awareness of pricing trends, risks and opportunities. o Continuously seek out and assess new supply chain members to meet regional operating unit project demand. o Monitor the supply chain performance, workload and financial status to protect the corporate position. o Develop the supply chain, products and innovations that bring cost and/or buildability benefits * * * Car, or car allowance of £7,500per annum * 27 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays with the option to buy an additional 2 days per year * Discretionary bonus of up to 10% of annual salary * Pension – 3% employee contribution. 5% employer contribution * Annual salary reviews * Medical insurance * Life assurance * 2 x giving back days per year (charity days)
