French & German Teacher

Are you a passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, with a specialism in French and/or German, eager to share your love for language and culture? We\’re looking for a permanent, full-time teacher to join our well-regarded Independent school in Harrow this September. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate a real appreciation for languages and their rich cultures in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16). What you\’ll be doing: * You\’ll plan and deliver engaging French and/or German lessons that develop students\’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. * The role involves fostering an appreciation for European cultures and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the languages. * You\’ll cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities. What we\’re looking for: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French and/or German. * Native or near-native fluency in French and/or German is, of course, essential. * Experience teaching engaging and effective MFL lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and that special ability to inspire a passion for languages.
