Aon is looking for a Chief People Officer – ABS – Flexible on location in UK. As part of an industry-leading team, you will serve as the primary People Org advisor to Aon Business Services (ABS) Platform Leadership Teams and will work closely with the Office of the COO on talent strategy and as the lead point of coordination across ABS for all colleague lifecycle initiatives. As a Chief People Officer – ABS you will report directly to the Deputy Chief People Officer, Shared Services, and Aon’s COO.
What will you get to do?
- Creating trusted relationships with the COO and the ABS Leadership Team, to plan and develop, monitor, and measure the success of the overall ABS People strategies, in line with the strategic direction of ABS and the People Organization.
- Being a member of the ABS Leadership Team who can advise and consult on Global matters and initiatives and can optimally cascade the information to the regional PO teams.
- Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the ABS business model, enabling strategic consulting on, and for the delivery of people initiatives to deliver business results and performance.
- Developing both in-year and multi-year talent strategies (sourcing and hiring, capability building, development, career paths, talent review and succession, rewards/incentives) consistent with the Solution Lines growth and contribution margin plan in consultation with the relevant COE’s global standards.
- Providing input into key staffing and hiring decisions to ensure that both growth and Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) objectives are considered and met.
- Defining and cascading performance expectations and goals that are aligned to Solution Line, Regional and Corporate Objectives.
- Maintaining aggregated global view of ABS talent (including I&D), capabilities, culture and critical needs.
- Working closely with the Office of the COO (COO Chief of Staff, ABS Communicator and Deputy CPO/Shared Services) to support Aon’s COO on talent strategy and all colleague lifecycle initiatives.
- Being responsible for partnering with the ABS Platforms aligned People Org teams globally; working with the dedicated People business partners in the regions and COEs to deliver outstanding service and support.
- Ensuring the team is fully equipped to advise and consult with ABS Platform colleagues and leaders in the regions to drive business results and outcomes for the business and Aon.
- Working with the Regional CPOs to ensure that talent life-cycle processes are run and delivered with an Aon United approach.
- Influencing and participating in the development of the Solution Line Global People org strategy, member of the Global Solution Line People Team.
