Logistics Operative

Reds10 is an award-winning, off-site construction specialist based at our large manufacturing facility in Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire. We are looking for an FLT Operative to join us working with a dynamic team. This is a permanent role working 5 days a week Monday to Friday. You\’\’ll need your own transport as there is limited public transport. Hourly rate is £16.80 and we are looking for you to hold all or some of these qualfications and skills – * Banksman * FLT tickets * Combi Tickets * Gantry Tickets * Slinger / signaller Main purpose of the role/Key objectives To assist with the production and assembly of construction components in our factory facilities, using a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to transport materials and components around the facility. Accountabilities * Safe operation of an FLT to transport materials around the facility * Assistance with the production and assembly of construction components in our factory facility * Maintenance of a clean and organised work environment * Adherence to safety protocols and procedures * Ensure daily production targets are met * Ensure any quality or safety issue is reported appropriately Roles and responsibilities * Safely operate an FLT, including loading and unloading materials and organising them in the storage area * Assist with production including tasks such as cutting, drilling and sanding materials * Operate various tool and equipment as required * Assist with the loading and unloading of materials * Keep work areas and machinery clean and organised * Meet daily production targets as assigned by the Supervisor/Factory Manager Key skills * Experience driving an FLT in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Able to establish and maintain good working relationships * Copes well in a high-paced industry, multi-tasking skills necessary * Professional, with an excellent understanding of, and respect for, health and safety requirements * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions * Good physical fitness and manual dexterity * Ability to work collaboratively within a team If this sounds like you please get in touch and apply today
