We are looking to hire Support Workers to assist tenants with learning disabilities or autism in leading excellent quality lives across our supported living services in Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge. In this role, you will collaborate with service users, their families and their support networks to enhance their health and wellbeing, promote independence and foster community connections. Our services aim to help individuals lead fulfilling lives, maintain their tenancies, engage with the local community, develop independent living skills and achieve their desired outcomes.

Beyond providing direct care and support, you will have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker, helping people achieve their dreams and goals. While we highly value experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism, prior experience is not necessary if you can demonstrate a positive attitude, person-centered values, energy and commitment. You will need strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to create high-quality support plans. A strong work ethic, a sense of duty and the ability to contribute positively to a team are also essential.

Our services offer full-time contracts of 37.5 hours per week or part-time contracts with a minimum of 15 hours per week, worked on a flexible rota. The ability to work independently and use your initiative is crucial for this role. A valid driving license and access to a car (or other vehicle) is essential, and a mileage allowance is provided.

Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
