The predicted salary is between 21600 - 36000 £ per year.

  • Supervise classes of students aged 16-19 years old.

  • Cover a variety of lessons as required.

  • Ensure students complete the work set by their regular teacher.

  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Support students with additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in both one-to-one and small group settings.

  • Collaborate with the larger student support department to ensure learners have the best experience possible in classrooms., Not looking for teaching roles? We are also registering teaching assistants, learning support assistants, learning mentors, and technicians through to other FE positions including HR, finance, facilities, and administrators. We also have a specialist team of interim and senior management consultants with over 20 years’ experience in the sector.

  • Previous experience as a cover supervisor.

  • Experience working with post-16 students.

  • Flexibility for day-to-day supply work.

  • Experience or background in working with young people with additional SEND needs, or those who have worked with hard-to-engage young people.

  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour.

  • A good communicator, and above all else, a kind and resilient person.

  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to apply for one via Reed.
