We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics NAV Finance Consultant to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about transforming business processes through technology. Job Description: As a Dynamics NAV Finance Consultant , you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV (now known as Dynamics 365 Business Central) in finance modules for our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, design tailored solutions, and ensure that the system is optimised to meet financial reporting and operational needs. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities: Consultation & Solution Design: Work closely with clients to understand their financial processes and business requirements. Design and implement best practices in Dynamics NAV finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Bank Reconciliation, and Financial Reporting. Implementation & Configuration: Lead or support the full implementation lifecycle of Dynamics NAV finance modules, from initial scoping and requirements gathering to system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live. Customization & Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to customize Dynamics NAV solutions to meet specific client needs, including integration with other systems (e.g., CRM, HR, or third-party applications). Training & Support: Provide end-user training and support, ensuring users are confident in using the financial modules of Dynamics NAV. Develop training materials and user documentation to enhance user adoption. Ongoing System Optimization: Conduct regular reviews of system performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement, ensuring clients maximize the value of their Dynamics NAV investment. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process and during post-go-live support, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure successful project outcomes. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience with Dynamics NAV: Minimum of 5 years experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting the finance modules of Dynamics NAV, ideally within a consultancy environment. Finance Expertise: Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Prior experience in finance or accounting roles is highly desirable. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into functional system solutions. Project Management Skills: Experience leading or being a key contributor to Dynamics NAV implementation projects. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Dynamics NAV/Business Central environments, including customization tools and third-party integrations. Experience with SQL and report development is a plus. Certifications (desirable): Microsoft Dynamics NAV certifications or similar qualifications in financial consulting or ERP solutions.
