Aspire provides extraordinary support for exceptional people living with Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or complex health needs in Salford and the surrounding areas. We offer a range of day services, respite care, supported living, and community and carer support, helping people to live their lives, their way. We are passionate about supporting people to achieve their own personal goals, dreams, and ambitions.

We are looking for a part-time driver to join our expanding facilities team. This varied role will help to ensure the people we support can play an active part in their local communities and will assist with the smooth operation of our services across our multiple sites.

As part of the role, you will be expected to transport people using one of our 10-seater minibuses, ensuring passengers are safe and well cared for throughout their journey. You will have great customer service and communication skills, with the right attitude and attentiveness, to assist our people supported in a friendly and professional manner.

You will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is routinely maintained and ready for use and for completing vehicle documentation as required. You must also have an up-to-date CPC licence and be willing to complete the necessary training to maintain it. Due to the physical nature of this role, you must also be able to load, unload, move, and handle in a safe manner, including with wheelchair users and the use of safety straps.

You may also be required to assist with transporting equipment across our sites using the minibus or small van.

Hours will be varied, working over a 7 day period and may include some evenings and weekends as agreed. Enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for this role.
