JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an Estimating Coordinator with excellent Administration skills.
The Opportunity: A vital role to the company providing essential support to the Estimator and to the wider team. Building good relationships with customers and suppliers, and progressing the business.
Role profile:
- Input enquiries received onto a spreadsheet
- Create manual and electronic enquiry folders to keep on top of relevant information, specifically tender deadlines
- Assess the scope of works involved in a project based on an enquiry
- Liaise with clients and keep them informed of progress
- Follow up on quotations which have been sent out to clients
- When necessary, assist the Estimator with producing quotations
- General administration duties for the team
Person profile:
- Excellent administration skills
- Analytical and technical skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Office Applications
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Flexible and positive approach to work
- Construction experience, recognise bills of quantities, specifications, drawings, etc.
Essential criteria:
- Considerable knowledge and proficiency of Excel formulas
